The first time I met this gorgeous bride to be was for coffee….
I could tell from across the room that she had more style on her 10 little fingers than I did my whole self put together. I could also see her radiant smile that seemed carefree and happy…

Fast forwarding to her wedding day… Nicole showed all that and more. From her sophisticated stunning dress, to her gorgeous beaming smile, to the girl doing a giddy dance throughout her vows because she was so incredibly excited to become Mrs. Logan Smith… She was without a doubt one of the best brides to work with and just so completely happy to be getting married to her best friend.

She didn’t care about the little things that could hang others up… She just went on with a smile, loving that her best friends were all around her and that at the end of the day, she would be with her best friend, now husband Logan forever.

And then there was Logan, who brought a calm demeanor to the day.  Who nailed all our grooms shots with his cool style, warm smile and amazing personality!!

These two together are simply perfect.  They compliment each other so well.  Congrats again to Mr. & Mrs. Smith

I hadn’t gotten the chance to shoot a newborn outside in quite sometime, so I was beyond excited when an old co-worker of mine (shout out to Hicksville Community Hospital 😉 asked if I would shoot her gorgeous new baby boy and family pictures!!!

I wish I could explain the look of pure excitement, joy, love and admiration Chelsea has when she looks or speaks of her son.  The bond between a Mother and son is something so special and I loved hearing her story of his first week of life.  She will be without a doubt a wonderful Mother.  And Joel, with his soft spoken words and love for baseball will no doubt be right there as well shaping Jacob into a wonderful man someday!

With a little patience, love and lots of milk… I present Jacobs newborn session 🙂

Even though I only live 3 hours away from my home town, I don’t get there often enough.  I was soooo beyond excited when Natalie asked if I would take her wedding pictures!!!  Not only to see her and how gorgeous she will be on her big day, but also see all my long lost friends from high school!!!!!!

I was thrilled when she said that her and Justin were willing to make the long journey to Paulding County Ohio for their engagement pictures!  After debating about the weather about 200 times, the evening ended up being perfect!!!

Natalie and Justin were so much fun to work with!  And it was so great getting to see you again Nat!  You guys are perfect together and Natalie you are pure gorgeous in all of your photos!!!!  You aren’t too bad either Justin 🙂

It is hard to believe I met Shaley 8 years ago while I was chasing around this boy I know and his band ;)… We have had some amazing times together, many laughs and memories to come!!!  So excited for her and Justin to be welcoming their first child into the world in just a few short weeks!!!!

It’s hard for me to sometimes remember how small my children were when they were born… (Lofton 5 lb 14 oz. and Benson only 4lb 1 oz)  until I see a sweet baby like Cecilia and the memories slowly come flooding back!!!  With all her hair and all of her cuteness she couldn’t be any more perfect or loved any more!!!

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace” (Numbers 6:24-26).

Of course the forecast was anything but right.  It was supposed to be cloudy and still… Instead it was 50 mph winds (okay, not really, but close!) and totally sunny.  BUT with a little patience and great locations we got some amazing pictures!!!!

Last fall was crazy… So I am trying to catch up the blog!!!

Amy emailed me inquiring about family pictures with a statement of… “We aren’t very photogenic”.  At first I thought oh whatever I’m sure they are…. And then I thought, wait, what if they have 3 heads?  Bring their 10 cats along?  All wear orange and pink together….   But oh my goodness, she was totally wrong!  They are a beautiful family of 5 with three of the cutest kids around!!!  Their personality and love came out in every picture!!!!  So glad to have met them and I sure hope to see them again sometime!!!

Oh my goodness… It has been entirely toooooo long since I have blogged any of my sessions… But what better time to get back into the swing of things than with my amazing family!!!!!  A couple weeks ago my gorgeous sister in law added another Grandchild into a crazy ever growing family!!!  Little Joshua is waaay cute and loved soooo so so much already!!!!

This blog may seem like a different style than most… because it is!!!  Over the past couple months I have taken pictures of my boys almost everyday… Doing little unexpected things throughout the day and capturing their personality… Our surroundings, our messes, our smiles and tears.  SO… my passion for lifestyle photography for others has increased.  Being a photographer that will come to your house, your settings and surroundings and capture gorgeous pictures of you and your family just doing life.  Having your kids play with their favorite toys, you reading them their favorite book…. Yes, there is some traditional posed set ups along the way, but when you let kids just be themselves magic happens!!!!

So with all that being said, I hope you guys enjoy my first true lifestyle adventure!!!

I love when I have senior girls multiple times!!!  After our first session Taylor and I had a great chemistry going… and third time was definitely a charm!!!  Add an incredibly gorgeous fall night to the equation and you KNOW that we got some AMAZING shots!!!  By far one of my favorite senior sessions to date!!
